Despite the name, this is a very common condition that mainly presents in children and teenagers who are quite active. Pain presents at the back of the heel and can be worst 8-12 hours after their activity. This issue usually recovers within a few weeks if the recommended treatment is followed and usually requires only a few exercises and rest from activity.
