Plantar Fasciitis most commonly presents as pain under the heel or along the inner arch of the foot. The pain is usually worst first thing in the morning after getting out of bed. It can ease when you start to walk but the pain may return towards the end of the day. Treatment generally consists of rehab exercises to lengthen and strengthen the muscles involved. For chronic or long-running cases custom orthotics are sometimes needed to bring further relief. This condition is completely treatable and the earlier treatment begins the less time recovery will take.
