Morton’s Neuroma

Morton’s Neuroma is a nerve entrapment most commonly between the 3rd and 4th toes. It can present between other toes but this is less common. It is usually an overloading issue to that part of the foot which leads to nerve entrapment between the metatarsal bones. It can often feel like you’re ‘walking on a stone’ or a ‘bunched up sock’. The pain can also extend through the toes. Treatment for this issue usually consists of custom orthotics with some manual therapy of the feet if needed.
