Hallux Abducto Valgus (HAVs) (Bunions)

Hallux Abducto Valgus is a bony condition where the big toe will start to move in the direction 2nd-5th toes and the big toe joint will move in the opposite direction. The exact cause of this condition is still unknown but aggravators include poor footwear and genetics. Bunions are not always painful but if so, treatment is available. Footwear is the most important part of any bunion treatment but custom orthotics are also sometimes needed.
